A member of the DAR chapter in Syracuse NY after the Civil War. Also a member of the Daughters of the Union Veterans. Traveled to out-of-town meetings for the DAR on occasion.
Accomplished at knitting, sewing, tatting, quilt-making, crocheting. Won a prize at the New York State Fair for a quilt presently in the possession of Dorothy Stevens Sibson.
Lived with Alice Esther Williams Stevens and Gordon Warren Stevens until her death.
